So the short version is that Drive can now understand natural language searches.

So all you need to do is go to Google Drive like this.

You'll know if you've got this feature activated because it will say get answers from Drive in the search box here and you type in a question.

So I might say, who is responsible for Project Alpha?

You could ask questions about particular projects you've got on particular people, deadlines, tasks that you know you've got coming, and anything like that.

I hit Enter and now it will give me the normal results where I get a list of files like this.

But at the top of that file list I get an AI overview and it links to the documents that it has looked in to give me this answer and tells me that Tanya provides project updates while Dean and Ben manage budgets and deadlines.

The really nice thing though is that you can take this even further by clicking on Ask Gemini and it basically opens this new version of Gemini inside Google Drive.

And this screen is called a project.

And so now you can ask follow up questions about these documents that have already been added as sources on the left.

And if you know there are other documents that would be relevant to the kinds of things you're going to ask, you can add those as sources by clicking Add up here as well.

And then once you're ready, you can save this as a project or you ask, more questions down here.

The only tool that's available here is to create images, but I do think this could be really powerful, so I hope that's helpful.
